About the Model 

The 58 SonShip is a classic Pacific Northwest Cruiser built by West Bay and was one of West Bay’s most popular models, offering an impressive mix of sleek styling, luxury class accommodations and Performance. At 63′ 6″ L.O.A. with a 17′ 1″ Beam, her spacious Pilothouse interior with 3 staterooms boasts a large salon, raised pilothouse, galley and dinette lounge, all cabins forward with a lavish full beam master suite, VIP stateroom and guest/crew cabin,2 full heads and premium systems and appointments throughout. Spacious flybridge will comfortably seat 8 and there are built in stainless steel cradles for both a tender and a liferaft as well as an 1500 lb capacity Davit.  

One of the largest boats in her size/class range, construction is strong but relatively light in her size range/class, with a fairly economical cruise of 22 knots and a Top end in the 25-26 knot range,  With the The SonShip 58 , you will make your way across the Gulf Stream in no time to the Bahama’s or have the ability and range to cruise extensively but leisurely/economically at 10 knots,

As you step aboard the boat at the swim platform via the transom door, you are greeted by a stunning teak cockpit sole and stainless framed entry door and as you enter the salon, you immediately note 360 degree visibility through the high wrap around windows from the salon all the way forward to the pilothouse. To port is a white American Leather convertible sofa with king mattress(comfortable/no metal support bar under) and to starboard is a large built in credenza which houses storage lockers, a built in electrically operated TV lift and laminate wood salon sole. Forward to port in salon is another built in storage unit. forward and up 3 steps is the combined Pilothouse/galley and dinette area. Again you will note 360 degree wrap around window visibility. To port is the fully appointed galley with full size SS refrigerator, Dishwasher, Trash compactor, Microwave Convection Oven and lots of storage. To starboard is a large dinette/lounge with storage under. To port and starboard are doors which access the side decks and the centerline pilothouse helm has a commanding view and full array of electronics.  

Entry to the cabin area is to starboard side of helm and a rounded stairway takes you to the vessels luxurious and comfortable 3 staterooms. 

Aft is a full beam master stateroom rivaling any aft cabin style motoryacht with island bed, loads of built in storage over and under the berth, ensuite head/shower, built in concealed washer/dryer and dual cedar lined hanging lockers.

The VIP stateroom is forward in the bow and again, rivals any motoryacht stateroom in the size range for size, space and comfort and features an island bed, a ton of storage and hanging lockers to port and starboard.

The 3rd stateroom is midship to port with large and comfortable over/under bunks, hanging locker and good storage.

A generous companionway separates the 3 staterooms and the Guest/Day Head is to starboard and shared by the VIP and Guest staterooms.

The interior of “FIVE O-CLOCK” is finished in a semi-gloss varnished light wood accented nicely by her serene interior appointments in fabrics and colors and is bathed in natural light, bright and open throughout and would be a pleasure to stay on for a weekend or an extended liveboard cruise

Flybridge access is via a stairway from the pilothouse or via a ladder in the cockpit. The helm is centerline with 2 swivel pedestal helm and companion seats and wrap around seating aft of the helm. There is a wetbar to port of helm station with sink and storage space for an optional refrigerator, icemaker. There are covers for the helm and all of the seating areas. Aft on the bridgedeck  is a 1500 capacity Davit with a SS cradle for a future tender as well as a cradle for a future cannister liferaft.

Cockpit is roomy, features beautiful teak decks and molded in steps to side decks and to salon, a built in sink and storage area and for engine room access steps into salon lift and there is great access to the bright, clean and spacious engine and mechanical room  Engine room is well lit, has good height and lots of room to get around.

 Aft in cockpit is a lazarette for additional under deck storage.
