1995 Shannon 43

Doubletake is a fine example of the popular Shannon 43 cutter, designed by Walter Schultz and built by Shannon Yachts of Bristol, Rhode Island. She has the Scudder rig and a custom-designed centerboard.

The interior features a two-stateroom, two-head interior with fine cherry joinery. She has a well-designed galley for cooking at anchor or underway.

The nav station is tucked away to starboard and has all the necessary equipment to navigate the world properly

There are two heads, both electric with one using fresh water to flush and the other, salt water.

On deck, the layout for sailing is well thought out with all lines running back to electric winches. The deep cockpit is safe at sea and comfortable with high backrests. The deck is clean with high lifelines, good walkways, and numerous handholds.

The rig was replaced in 2021 with rod rigging and is in excellent condition. The sails are serviceable.

She is powered by a 71 hp Westerbeke diesel and has an 8 kw  Westerbeke generator for domestic sevice.
